LAND DRAINAGE

Our Mastenbroek 20/15 land drainage trencher can lay pipes from 60mm to 200mm diameter up to a depth of 2 metres.

Due to larger equipment we are finding that the compaction is becoming a bigger problem preventing water from penetrating to the sub soil. Placing the stone up to within 15 inches of the surfaces increases the drainage surface area but also allow sub soilers to penetrate the stone allowing water through. We also have a Mastenbroek drain jetter to keep drains to their maximum efficiency. Keeping ditches clean is probably the most important part of any drainage as a well drained field is only effective if the water can get away. Our 20 tonne excavator makes light work of any ditch.
